About the Role

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, a leading private equity holding company, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Excellence Manager to join its team. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for driving business improvement initiatives and implementing strategic plans to enhance the performance of portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth business analysis to identify areas of improvement and develop targeted initiatives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with local management teams to implement and track improvement initiatives, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's operations, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Support the M&A team in due diligence, analyzing business performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • At least 5-7 years of international experience in a Commercial Excellence role, with a strong background in industry or consulting.
  • Master's degree in economics, finance, engineering, marketing, or a related field, with outstanding academic results.
  • Proven track record of driving business improvement initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to travel frequently within China.
