Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a leading multilateral development bank committed to financing infrastructure projects with sustainability in mind. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
This role will report directly to the Vice President, Investment Clients, Region 1 & Financial Institutions and Funds, Global. The primary responsibility of this position will be to provide quality assurance assistance for investment operations while ensuring that project quality rests with the sponsoring departments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting project teams in preparing high-quality project documents for sovereign-backed financing and non-sovereign-backed financing projects.
- Developing and implementing robust project-level monitoring and evaluation systems, focusing on project results frameworks.
- Addressing concerns raised during Interdepartmental Review meetings, Investment Committee meetings, and pre-Board discussions.
- Participating in Screening Committee and Investment Committee meetings to provide feedback to project teams.
- Reviewing project implementation monitoring reports and assisting project teams in addressing key project implementation issues.
- Mentoring and training IO staff on project preparation and implementation.
- Identifying solutions and structuring sovereign-backed financings.
Requirements for this position include:
- A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in multilateral development banks or top-tier global financial institutions.
- Substantial experience in at least one, preferably two, of the primary infrastructure business sectors covered by the Infrastructure Investment Department, Regions 1 and 2.
- Experience in project and infrastructure financing across multiple sectors and jurisdictions.
- Balanced experience in sovereign-backed and non-sovereign-backed financing projects.
- Strong credit and structuring skills for different investment instruments.
- An exceptional track record in achieving results and problem-solving.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Fluency in English, with knowledge of languages spoken in countries where AIIB invests being an asset.
- A Master's degree in finance, economics, development studies, or related fields.
