Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to lead our Power MPDE team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and executing a manufacturing strategy for our Power portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for AI and Data Center Power and Cable components to meet business needs.
  • Manage resources, technical risks, and costs to ensure on-time development of new products.
  • Collaborate with plant operations teams to ensure successful hand-off of new process technology into high-volume production and sustaining.
  • Drive manufacturing cost reduction by aligning MPDE teams to business needs and focusing on DFM & DFC.
  • Interface with customers during manufacturing reviews/plant audits and present updates/strategies to the senior leadership team.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience leading product/process development organizations.
  • BS in ME or EE, MS or greater preferred.
  • Knowledge of multiple manufacturing domains with a business understanding critical to the success of the role.
  • 8+ years' experience with new products/manufacturing process development, verification, and ramping.
  • Desirable experience in connector and/or cable production/assembly.
