About the Role:

In this pivotal position at Aptiv, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of mobility. Our team of passionate engineers and developers creates cutting-edge technologies, including advanced safety systems, high-performance electrification solutions, and data connectivity solutions.

As an Assembly Line Manufacturing Engineer, you will assist in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, eliminating waste, and optimizing production efficiency. Your focus will be on developing innovative solutions to improve production capabilities and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with AME engineers to design and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Conduct workplace efficiency studies, allocate personnel, and design manufacturing systems.
  • Identify and eliminate waste, balance production line workflows, and enhance overall production efficiency.
  • Solve production site problems and respond quickly to any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with the quality department to resolve quality issues in the assembly area and respond promptly to any emerging problems.
  • Pursue continuous improvement by implementing lean principles and developing automation tools to enhance assembly line performance.

Requirements:

  • College degree or higher in mechanical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with industrial engineering, manufacturing system design, and process optimization techniques.
  • Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in computer applications.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a joint-venture or wholly-owned enterprise.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong professionalism and teamwork spirit.
