Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior NPI Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our innovation team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing processes, methods, tooling, and machine modifications for inlay manufacturing. You will lead the product introduction from development to high-volume production, providing clear information to process and maintenance teams to ensure NPI and MP. You will work with cross-functional teams to qualify materials, processes, and equipment, ensuring all critical factors are qualified before mass production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement processes, methods, tooling, and machine modifications for inlay manufacturing.
  • Lead the product introduction from development to high-volume production.
  • Provide clear information to process and maintenance teams to ensure NPI and MP.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to qualify materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Actively pursue opportunities to improve processes, increasing quality, throughput, and reducing costs using lean/sigma tools.
  • Provide on-machine expertise to operators and technicians to ensure manufacturing capability and capacity meet delivery and performance targets.
  • Develop test methods for qualifying new products, materials, and processing procedures.
  • Motivate others to accept process changes, sustain them, and take ownership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 4 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Must have Bonding/SMT experience in a manufacturing environment, RFID background preferred.
  • Good experience in new product qualification and product management.
  • Oral and written English skill.
  • Firsthand experience with Muehlbauer machines is an advantage.
  • Certification in improvement processes is preferred (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer value.
  • Willingness to work with all levels of operational and professional staff across all shifts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks and projects over a wide range of priorities to completion.
