Summary:

Ensure safe and stable production operations, and continuously improve EHS, quality, productivity, and cost in responsible areas through CI methodology and project execution.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintain safe and stable production operations, set and achieve production goals in EHS/quality/schedule attainment/productivity/cost, and transfer Momentive silicones global process technology and new products to the plant by going through NPI/NPT processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement Capex and improvement projects as operations representative, ensuring safe and on-time startup.
  • Develop operations SOPs and conduct training/qualification to operators.
  • Ensure good on-site management of raw materials, conduct monthly stock taking, and work with sourcing teams for new raw material qualification.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement follow-ups of un-planned events and near misses from EHS/quality/operations perspectives.
  • Drive cycle time reduction, asset capacity increasing, and operations efficiency optimization in responsible areas.
  • Implement Operation Excellence programs and CI initiatives.
  • Promote safety, quality, and CI culture in operations.
  • Liaise with all site functional teams, global engineering, China process, R&D, supply chain, sourcing, marketing, and sales teams as well as customers for operations-related activities.
