Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Purchasing Engineer to join our team at LEWA. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate prices, and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes
  • Conduct market research, analyze data, and make informed purchasing decisions
  • Monitor and report on procurement metrics, including cost savings and supplier performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or supply chain management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems
