Role Overview:

As a Process Engineering Team Lead at Siemens Shanghai Medical Equipment Ltd., you will be responsible for coordinating the cooperation between the team and the overall process. This includes technical support and planning of manufacturing processes to ensure that the setup of production processes will satisfy our quality system, product introduction plans, and production efficiency for medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for team management and development, including resource planning, task tracking, coaching of new comers, and developing team members.
  • Setting up and maintaining validation and verification of production processes, including creating working and testing instructions for SCM, closely communicating with suppliers, and giving early alerts of materials shortage or quality problems in case of any unexpected situations.
  • Process improvement to ensure the whole team's working efficiency, driving and supporting CIP/NPI projects tasks.
  • Coordinating with project teams regarding feasibility in assembly and testing, ensuring that relevant know-how has been transferred to SCM EN.
  • Setting up and maintaining validation and verification of production processes, including creating WI for SCM.
  • Maintaining up-to-date information to improve process quality and efficiency in production, providing sufficient training to operators timely.
  • Planning in-process inspection, assembly, testing, and packing equipment.
  • Maintaining up-to-date information on planning documents (schedule, milestone plans) to ensure the transparency of project progress.
  • Supporting relevant processes during supplier selection, evaluation, and quality improvement.
  • Other tasks assigned by superior.
