The Filtration Sector Strategist role focuses on developing and executing a sales strategy for a defined sector within Process Filtration, aiming to achieve financial and business objectives in this field.

This role is part of a global team impacting a growing strategic business unit and will involve defining the strategy and sales approach in dedicated sectors with strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a winning growth strategy, including target applications, competitor information, market data, and more.
  • Support sales activities within your sector using the existing product portfolio, providing technical project support for the local team and becoming the local expert for focus applications, approach options, and market insight.
  • Regular travelling to China and other APAC regions as needed to support customer visits, site assessments, product trials, technical meetings, trade shows, and sector-specific events.
  • Develop mid- and long-term requirements in terms of product validations, new product developments, market trends, and market opportunities, acting as the voice of the market in your focus region to support product management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Food and Beverage Industry, preferably in Dairy, Plant-Based, or Food Manufacturing.
  • Strong technical understanding of filtration and process requirements in your sector.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-organization and ability to develop a clear vision and structure for the global sales organization.
  • Proactive mindset, able to plan initiatives and realize actions for business growth together with the local Sales team.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or technical education in a relevant field, such as food science or process engineering.
  • Previous work experience at a filtration company active in these environments.
  • Experience in business development.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $150,000 based on industry standards and location factors. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary based on individual circumstances.
