Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at The LEGO Group. As a key member of our Quality in External Parts (QiEP) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the outstanding quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate product structure and design to meet safety and functional requirements throughout the development process.
  • Review and improve current processes to drive continuous improvement and optimize project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement Q-Test plans for high-complexity elements to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct production pilots at vendors' plants, evaluate, and qualify manufacturing processes.
  • Take ownership of learning and development, proactively improving area of responsibility, and transforming functional knowledge into tangible results.
  • Collaborate with global project teams to ensure deliverable quality in Play Engineering project development.
  • Apply data science knowledge and skills to verify and validate development performance.
  • Contribute risk findings to project teams using professional quality tools (CTQs, FMEA, SPC, CPK, PPAP).
  • Follow up on development weak points or challenged points to ensure mass production stability.
  • Engage in complex production setups in PE projects with global Process Engineers to achieve production performance targets.
  • Co-drive development Big Incidents, coordinating with global functional teams, local project teams, and supplier teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in quality development or design engineering with relevant education background in mechanical/electronics engineering; preference for electronics industry.
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and MSA is necessary; preferable knowledge of 6Sigma.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Data science skills for performance analysis and risk indication.
  • Mechanical engineering experience is requested, with a preference for working in the electronics industry.
