Government Affairs Specialist

About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Government Affairs Manager to join our team at Werfen. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining smooth communication channels with local government departments and associations in relevant fields.
Responsibilities
- Provide information intelligence support to management through monitoring macro and micro local government policy changes, including tracking key policy changes/trends on healthcare reform, pricing and reimbursement, bidding and price negotiations, VBP etc., with in-depth implication analysis.
- Work with associations to make company challenges/difficulties/thoughts etc. heard and understood clearly.
- Proactively identify risks relating to company operation and business development, gather information and propose actions to the internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Work with marketing and sales team to expand product sales in more provinces through applying reimbursement prices.
- Support and coordinate closely with Tender Team for different level of tender cases: consult Tender offices/local HSAs at all levels, Tender policy analysis/interpretation from macro environment perspective and specific case point of view, core team collaboration (sales, MKT, pricing).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Minimum 5 years work experience in government affairs/market access function in multinational company or organization.
- Good knowledge of Chinese political/regulatory system and working procedures of government.
- Strong networking and communication with internal and external parties and understand key concepts and initiatives of GA and market access.
- Familiar and sensitive about healthcare and relevant reform policy.
- Working experience in government agencies or public sector is a plus.
- Strong analytic, research skills and good command of verbal and written English and Chinese.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- A self-starter with strong discipline, hardworking, and a positive and enthusiastic attitude, high ethics.
