Government Affairs Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Government Affairs Manager to join our team at Werfen. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local government departments and associations in the healthcare industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to ensure smooth interactions with government agencies and associations.
- Provide critical information and intelligence support to management by monitoring local government policy changes and trends, including healthcare reform, pricing, and reimbursement.
- Collaborate with associations to address company challenges and ensure clear understanding of key issues.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to company operations and business development, and propose timely actions to internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to expand product sales in multiple provinces through reimbursement pricing.
- Support and coordinate with Tender Teams for various tender cases, including policy analysis, interpretation, and core team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government affairs or market access functions in a multinational company or organization.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese political and regulatory systems, as well as working procedures of government agencies.
- Excellent networking and communication skills, with a good command of verbal and written English and Chinese.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- A self-starter with strong discipline, hardworking, and a positive attitude, with high ethics.
