Job Summary

The CDP - Events Kitchen team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Entry Level Manager to join our team at the Park Hyatt Ningbo in Ningbo, CN. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and beverage service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize fresh products to create a variety of food items that meet the Hyatt Hotels Corporation standards.
  • Implement food surpluses and leftovers management according to set guidelines and policies.
  • Cook and prepare foods according to menus and recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Adhere to food apportionment policy to effectively control costs.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new products and recipes as directed by the Outlet Chef de Cuisine.
  • Prepare and serve fresh food to guests, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of cooking and kitchen personnel to ensure efficient and timely food production.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Ensure that all Commis Chefs and Kitchen Apprentices use the right tool for the right job and handle food-preparing machines safely.
  • Adhere to food safety management system requirements and local government regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
