Job Description
Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the accounting and administration of private equity and real estate clients
  • Act as a key point of contact for colleagues across the Asia-Pacific region
  • Drive the preparation of funds' periodic Net Asset Value calculation and year-end financial statements
  • Manage the audit and review of fund-related reports
  • Prepare fund accounts and periodic reports for fund entities
  • Guide junior employees in completing their work and provide first-level review
  • Assist managers in driving the initial setup of new funds
  • Learn and implement best-practice use of private equity and real estate accounting software and tools
  • Proactively take on additional responsibilities and tasks as required
  • Support managers and senior management in ensuring quality work is delivered to clients


Your Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience in asset management (preference for fund managers, fund administrators, or Big 4)
  • Strong academic background
  • Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ISCA/ACCA/CPAA/AICPA/CIMA) or strong progress on examinations
  • Knowledge of fund operations for private equity and/or real estate funds (including valuation, accounting, and payment procedures)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; fluency in Japanese or Korean is an asset
  • Team spirit with the ability to work independently when necessary
  • Ability to confidently communicate and collaborate with international colleagues
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Maturity and attention to detail
  • High level of IT literacy with strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of eFront or Yardi systems is a distinct advantage
