We are seeking an accomplished Academic Director to lead our Kindergarten Programme in Guangzhou. As the Academic Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Programme, ensuring it aligns with the school's Vision and Mission Statement.

About the Programme

The Programme is a private international language school, catering to students from primary to high school level. It offers a range of courses, including the International Baccalaureate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Programme's curriculum, ensuring it meets the school's standards and the IB requirements
  • Lead a team of teachers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality teaching and learning
  • Collaborate with the Principal to oversee staffing, budget, and facilities needs
  • Recruit and train teachers, in conjunction with the Principal
  • Liaise with the school registrar to maintain accurate student records

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, PGCE or PGDE, with at least 7 years of teaching experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to apply current technology to staff development and instructional delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in an IB Programme is preferred but not required
