About the Role
Röhlig China Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Professional to join our team in Qingdao. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for securing new customers and maintaining and developing existing accounts in the Shandong Area, with opportunities to expand into other regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers and driving sales growth.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, working closely with the sales team and other departments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded, and that customer satisfaction is consistently high.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with the tradeline manager and management to develop and implement business plans, driving growth and revenue expansion.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop effective sales strategies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
