Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Covestro. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing short and mid-term segment strategies, as well as exploring and handling key customers in the Industrial market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and internal departments;
  • Develop a healthy opportunity pipeline and successfully close opportunities to drive profitable sales growth;
  • Gain in-depth understanding of target markets and end users' technical requirements and competitive landscape;
  • Collaborate with AD & marketing to introduce and collateralize new product launches;
  • Represent Covestro in cross-BU activities, including strategy workshops and promotion campaigns.

Qualification Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An in-depth degree in Chemistry, plastic or engineering with good knowledge in thermoplastic;
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in plastic industry;
  • Team Player and demonstrable track record of leading cross-function team;
  • Experience in TPU sales and marketing preferable;
  • Degree qualification in a technical, scientific or business discipline;
  • Excellent influencing/presentation/negotiation skills;
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
