Position Overview:
As a key player in our sales operations, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the activities of a sales team within a designated area, product category, or market segment to meet established sales objectives.Key Responsibilities:
In this pivotal role, you will undertake the following duties:• Formulate and execute sales strategies, initiatives, and campaigns while managing the daily operations of the sales team to align with the organization's overall sales goals for your assigned territory, product line, or customer accounts.
• Generate sales forecasts and budgets; assess sales performance, revenue, and expenses against projections to identify challenges; and adjust processes or reallocate resources to enhance the sales team's effectiveness.
• Engage in negotiations with both existing and prospective customers who hold strategic significance for the organization.
• Assist in shaping sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for your area of responsibility.
• Mentor sales representatives on the technical features of the organization's offerings; on marketing initiatives and sales promotions; and on effective sales techniques, procedures, and standards to help them reach their sales goals.
Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:• A degree relevant to the field.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Willingness to relocate as necessary.
