About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Simulation Specialist to join our team at Ansys. As a key member of our Customer Excellence team, you will play a critical role in partnering with our customers to engineer innovative solutions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, and evaluations.
  • Interact with customers to understand their product design and digital transformation initiatives, and analyze how to address their requirements and articulate Ansys' value proposition.
  • Contribute to sales enablement and business development initiatives to drive significant impact to product revenue.
  • Collaborate with Ansys product development teams to translate customer requirements into new product features.
  • Partner with Ansys field and product marketing teams to create exciting new content to drive lead generation.
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment (BS+3, or MS+0).
  • Demonstrated use of Ansys software or knowledge of other CAE & CAD packages.
  • Problem-solver, strong interpersonal skills, fluent in writing and speaking English.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and executives.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrates a strong business aptitude and understanding of business drivers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+5, MS+3, or PhD+0.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the use of CAD and simulation as part of the design and upfront simulation process.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%.
