Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant Manager to join our team at Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed forecasted figures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement marketing strategies to achieve revenue growth and exceed forecasted figures in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments.

2. Ensure compliance with hotel, company, and local rules, policies, and regulations related to financial record-keeping, money handling, and licensing.

3. Oversee sales strategy, tactic, and action implementations, adhering to the Smart Selling approach, to create a strong and disciplined sales team.

4. Manage weekly yield meetings and monthly strategic meetings to develop and adjust marketing strategies and short-term pricing and channel tactics.

5. Proactively manage marketing resources and funds, controlling departmental costs, and working through respective Heads of Department as necessary.

6. Monitor that all hotel associates deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times, providing positive and constructive feedback as necessary.

7. Oversee and assist in the recruitment and selection of sales and marketing associates, ensuring Heads of Department follow hotel guidelines and use a competency-based approach.

8. Implement and monitor Personal Business Plans for all sales associates.

9. Maintain strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners, and other organizations.

Requirements

1. University degree or diploma in Marketing or Hospitality/Tourism management.

2. Minimum 2 years' work experience as Director of Sales & Marketing in a hotel.

3. Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, administrative, and interpersonal skills.

4. Proficiency in English, with expert English skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

5. Experience in large-scale resort hotel operations is an advantage.
