Financial Planning and Product Strategist, Wealth Management Expert

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Financial Planning and Product Expert, Broker at HSBC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clients with access to advanced technical product expertise and delivering new investment product launches.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Strengthen HSBC's image as a leading wealth provider by providing clients with access to advanced technical product expertise, and provide internal training materials on portfolio strategy, as well as investment product insights to internal stakeholders.

• Conduct training to deliver new investment product launches and translate product strategy to PWP.

• Supply timely market and product updates, and assist the frontline teams with all customer servicing needs and disputes in order to ensure seamless support is provided to our customers.

• Collect and apply market and channel intelligence to identify and share competitive gaps, service issues, business opportunities, and challenges with stakeholders.

• Work closely with the Investment Product Team and Financial Planning Team on new products, product enhancements and improvements in customer experience.

**Requirements**

• To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• University degree with honors in economics, finance, business, mathematics or a related discipline.

• Minimum of six years of working experience as an investment counsellor or product specialist.

• Strong client skills with the ability to deliver a strong client experience and provide needs-based solutions.

• Deep knowledge of financial planning to provide wealth management advice to high net wealth customers incl. Retirement / Estate Planning / Family Trust.

• Extensive external market awareness of market conditions, new product solutions, and an understanding of current financial market activities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Demonstrates ability to set stretch goals for self and the ability to deliver these with courage and tenacity.

• Excellent investment consultation and presentation skills.

• Obtained Fund Qualification from AMAC.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
