Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a strong understanding of technical engineering principles.
  • Proven experience in export/global regulatory requirements, with a focus on type approval and certification.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to government authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of independent judgment, accuracy, creativity, and initiative, with a strong commitment to teamwork and partnerships.
  • Ability to travel occasionally on relatively short notice, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Over 5 years' experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on type approval and certification.
  • Knowledge of export/global regulatory requirements, with a strong understanding of certification processes.
  • Experience working with assembly plant processes, with a focus on quality and compliance.
  • PVET certification, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
