Lead Test Operations Technician

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary authority for ensuring the optimal functioning of test floor machinery and coordinating testing operations.
  • Provide continuous support for testing activities, including shift work to facilitate operations, with a strong emphasis on tester setup, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Utilize fundamental troubleshooting skills to resolve known issues independently.
  • Collaborate as part of an integrated team to enhance tool availability and improve process yield.
  • Assist in addressing low test yield issues that impact shipments and delivery, including supporting line disturbance resolutions, verifying low yield lots, and maverick issues, while interfacing with Product Engineering and Test Development Engineering.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work alongside engineers to achieve critical equipment performance indicators, such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and yield metrics.
  • Support engineers in conducting machine buy-off processes and completing data collection tasks.
  • Initiate and share key learning summaries with fellow technicians.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in machine maintenance and testing operations, with familiarity in specific test equipment structures.
  • Ability to perform machine troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and conversions independently.
  • Basic proficiency in English reading skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong team player attributes.
