Position Overview:

The NPR Procurement Specialist will oversee the procurement of non-production goods and services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness throughout the procurement process. This role will collaborate closely with various internal teams to fulfill business requirements and cultivate enduring relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's operational needs, liaising with relevant departments to define indirect procurement requirements and strategies.
  2. Identify and assess potential suppliers, ensuring their quality, service, and pricing align with company standards.
  3. Engage in negotiations with suppliers, discussing contract terms and pricing to ensure alignment with the company's objectives.
  4. Address supplier-related issues, such as delivery delays and quality concerns, implementing effective resolutions.
  5. Foster long-term supplier relationships to facilitate seamless procurement operations.
  6. Oversee the procurement process, including planning, purchase orders, contracts, and other essential components to ensure efficiency.
  7. Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations and company policies, upholding ethical standards.
  8. Conduct regular evaluations of supplier performance, providing insights and recommendations for future supplier selection.
  9. Organize and analyze procurement data, generating reports to support the company's decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in indirect procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
  3. Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  4. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Familiarity with relevant regulations and ethical standards, demonstrating strong professional ethics.
  6. A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  7. Proactive approach with the capability to act swiftly. Knowledge of procurement process flows (RFP, RFI, RFQ, vendor management, etc.) is essential.
  8. Proficient in SAP, SAP Business Warehouse, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  9. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
  10. Commitment to strict business ethics and compliance awareness.
  11. Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, with a results-driven mindset and self-motivated personality.
  12. Strong internal and external communication skills.
