We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Inspector to join our team at SBM Offshore. As an Equipment Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and safety of our offshore equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential hazards and defects.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and maintain pollution control measures to prevent environmental hazards.
- Perform emergency response roles and participate in drills and exercises to ensure preparedness.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Equipment Inspector or in a related field.
- Experience and knowledge in offshore operations and equipment inspection.
- Relevant qualifications, such as Equipment Inspection and Thickness Measurement.
- Intermediate English language skills.
- Valid passport and ability to work in China on a 9X3 week shift for at least 1 year.
- Magnetic particles and/or Welding Inspector N1 or N2 qualifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Conscientious and safe working attitude.
- Ability to take positive action and perform under pressure.
