Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the set-up and delivery of office/retail projects and programmes from initial feasibility stage through to design, procurement, construction, and successful handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist project lead in ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective Project Management service.
  • Commission Management: Assist project lead in ensuring that commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Service Delivery: Assist project lead in ensuring that service delivery on commissions is in line with the conditions of appointment.
  • Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor and document project progress and other performance indicators.
  • Document Control: Provide document control assurance and lead management of project information flow.
  • Reporting: Prepare Project Management progress reports and other key documentation to be presented to clients.
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide a key interface across all stakeholders, liaising with the client, other consultants, end users and authorities, at all project stages.
  • Project Planning: Support project planning, including production of the detailed project delivery charter.
  • Project Governance: Support the establishment of effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project.
  • Commercial Control: Support post contract commercial control.
  • Change Management: Manage the change control process and tracking/documenting of all requested changes, quotations and approvals.
  • Financial Management: Monitor overall project finances.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve Project Management process, procedures, templates, and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
  • Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment: Identify and ensure that the appropriate parties are aware of quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor or above degree in engineering, design, construction, project management or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years work experience preferred in commercial/hi-tech manufacturing project management.
  • Skills: Knowledge on MS Project software, and capable of handling design & construction permitting applications.
  • Personal Qualities: Team player and detail-oriented.
  • Technical Skills: Good user of MS Word, Excel and PPT.
  • Language: English can be the working language.
