Job Description

Purpose of the Job

  • Support the development and execution of the Inter IKEA Group China Recruitment Strategy, including the creation of Employer Branding tactics and Recruitment Processes.
  • Develop effective channels, build a national shared talent pool, and support the development of Assessment Processes.

Key Responsibilities

Employer Branding

  • Lead the development of a Recruitment and Selection framework for Employer Branding, based on global guidelines, including target groups, key messages, and channels.
  • Create an Employer Branding Toolkit, including a communication package and tone of voice, based on global input.
  • Manage external Employer Branding activities and partners, including Ingka.
  • Lead and deliver common Employer Branding initiatives.
  • Guide and support different organizations to adjust and drive their own initiatives and campaigns based on the Employer Branding framework.

Recruitment

  • Lead the development of a Recruitment and Selection framework for the recruitment process, including how to work with headhunters and different recruitment channels.
  • Support part of the recruitment process, including posting and closing job ads, sourcing and screening for some positions.
  • Manage recruitment channels, including online and offline activities, contract signing, and service monitoring.
  • Manage external recruitment vendors, including recruitment platforms and headhunters.
  • Develop and maintain assessment tools and support the build-up of assessment competence for the BU P&C team.
  • Responsible for recruitment competence training, including value-based recruitment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the relevant business unit business and contribution to it, including a good understanding of the IKEA brand, culture, and values.
  • Good knowledge of IKEA people-related approaches and strategies, including IKEA P&C processes and tools.
  • Good knowledge of local employment legislations, co-worker relations, and labor market situations and trends.
  • Knowledge of Employer Branding theory and how to do EVP localization in China according to global guidance.
  • Ability to read and give Employer Branding insights according to requirements.
  • Familiarity with Employer Branding market trends and activities.
  • Knowledge of IKEA people-related approaches, including Talent Approach, Recruitment Approach, and Inclusion and Diversity Approach.
  • Strong recruitment capabilities, including recruitment channel and vendor management, interview, and recruitment assessment tools.
