Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a skilled Automation Developer to join our IT team. As an Automation Developer, you will play a key role in supporting the IT Operation team for workflow automation, log ingestion, auto healing, self-service automation within ITSM and related tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, build, test, and deploy automation scripts following best practices.
- Create and maintain workflow automation within the ITSM.
- Develop scripting for automation tasks.
- Monitor systems with logs and alerts ingested from multiple systems within the CX platform.
- Design and define integration among multiple systems.
- Maintain and support the Chabot framework.
- Maintain and support the AI/ML platform.
- Collaborate with the development lead and Product Owner to deliver automation solutions.
- Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3 years' solid working experience in the IT industry and development role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM and ITIL.
- Innovative mindset.
- Solid experience with JavaScript, Python, Ansible, PowerShell, RESTful API, JSON, XML.
- Experience with NoSQL DB and RDMS.
- Good understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Chabot.
- Working experience in Agile and Scrum.
- Familiar with cloud technology such as AWS and Azure.
- CI/CD and monitoring tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, ELK).
