Technical Sales Engineer Rotation Program Specialist

The FAST Rotation Program is a 7-month experience designed to prepare Sales & Applications team members for customer-oriented careers that pair technical skills with business perspectives.
This program provides experiences that help rising TIers understand how to successfully grow TI's business and thrive throughout their entire TI career.
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in three rotations: Field Sales Office, Product Marketing, and Sales Operations.
- In the Field Sales Office rotation, you will partner with customers and internal teams to uncover and win every possible customer opportunity.
- In the Product Marketing rotation, you will focus on the relationship between sales and a particular product line, understanding product life cycles, roadmap development, marketing approaches, and collaboration with product marketing.
- In the Sales Operations rotation, you will gain first-hand experience working with the pricing and customer service teams, focusing on pricing models, supply chain functions, price negotiation, and an overview of pricing guidelines, laws, procedures, and tools.
Upon successful completion of this track in the FAST program, you will be welcomed as a Technical Sales Representative (TSR) on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team.
As a TSR, your responsibilities will include:
- Using technical expertise, various sales tools, and relationships with engineering teams to identify projects.
- Managing and quantifying leads, and managing the commercial aspects of customer relationships.
- Developing, forecasting, and monitoring an annual plan for revenue growth.
Texas Instruments offers a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to kickstart their career in technical sales engineering.
The minimum qualification for this role is a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes.
