Cognex is seeking a highly skilled Global Sales Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Global Account Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for forecasting and closing vision solutions with End Users, Partners, and OEMs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Properly forecast and close vision solutions with End Users, Partners, and OEMs
  • Effectively demonstrate products to customers and utilize the sales process
  • Follow up on sales leads and schedule customer visits
  • Work with the Sensor Sales Engineer to ensure all Cognex products are sold into strategic accounts
  • Create plans and execute them for sensors and vision at key accounts
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of sales performance in the automation industry
  • Experience in selling technical products to production managers and engineers
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of MS Windows applications
  • Ability to work independently
Education and Experience:
  • Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven sales experience and a good track record for exceeding sales targets

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
