Job Title: Senior Industrial Designer - Product Development

At Bosch, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Designer to join our Product Development team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the ideation of concepts based on user research findings, synthesizing gathered information into actionable insights, and effectively communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale both verbally and visually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in face-to-face user research activities, including IDIs and focus groups.
  • Lead and support ideation of concepts based on user research findings.
  • Synthesize gathered information into actionable insights and opportunity areas.
  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, detailed designs, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
  • Work closely with internal development teams to ensure design specifications are implemented and design excellence is maintained throughout the process.
  • Manage external vendors and coordinate work.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
  • Share experience through enabling formats, such as trainings, with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Degree in industrial design and 5+ years of relevant working experience.
  • Good understanding of engineering and production processes.
  • High proficiency in Adobe CC and CAD (RHINO/CREO/Keyshot).
  • Good hands-on prototyping skills for various fidelity levels.
  • Working knowledge of basic agile methods (SCRUM, Design thinking...).
  • Solid experience in applying the designer's toolkit (User journeys, storyboards, brainstorming techniques...).
