Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we're committed to creating a safer, more sustainable, and connected world. As a Product Management Leader, you'll play a critical role in driving our product strategy, business leadership, and capacity plans to meet sales and profit targets.

Responsibilities
  1. Market Sensing & Strategy Development
  • Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitor landscape.
  • Collaborate with global teams to investigate the market and product strategy.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy backup materials.
  • Work with R&D and operations to develop new products that meet current and future customer requirements and market trends.
  • Manage the product lifecycle.
Develop Business Plan
  • Work cross-functionally to achieve sales, technology, and operation goals, along with financial goals.
  • Implement pricing policies as defined by lead PMs.
  • Assist in the development of the annual operating plan.
Execution - New Product Development & Launch
  • Create new projects for platform products and collaborate with project management teams to launch products on time.
  • Provide product information and samples to customers and sales teams in support of new product launches.
  • Gather product specifications and product attribute information for the development of marketing promotions.
  • Provide product demand forecast input to the S&OP process.
  • Promote new products to market with sales teams.
Execution - Post Launch Product Management
  • Perform pricing, cost, and margin analysis.
  • Develop sales forecasts and check product capacity plans.
  • Provide product information to customers, sales teams, customer service, field application engineering, etc.
  • Respond to requests for proposals and samples.
  • Analyze excess and obsolete inventory.
Management/Talent - Global Team Management
  • Talent development with target definition and goal/opportunity tracking.
  • Global team management with cross-time communication and team collaboration.
  • Generate and promote product strategies by regions and collaborate with regional PMs.
  • Regular P&L analysis and action-taking with CBC3 team members.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a technical, engineering, or related field.
  2. Mechanical or electrical engineering/project management/product management background preferred.
  3. At least 8-10 years of working experience in application engineering, project management, or engineering.
  4. Relevant product or industry experience desired.
  5. Operational experience with electronics manufacturing/manufacturing engineering preferred.
  6. Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal, written, spoken) with exceptional listening skills.
  7. Good command of English.
  8. Flexibility in working days and regional travel required.
