Position Overview
Mettler Toledo is looking for a skilled Enterprise Voice Solutions Engineer to join our Digital Workplace Solutions team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the voice communication experience for our extensive employee base. Your expertise will contribute to the upgrade of existing systems and the introduction of innovative technologies that improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the functional assessment and design of solutions as guided by the Communications and Messaging team lead, ensuring alignment with project goals and future scalability.
  • Execute implementation tasks in accordance with established requirements and design specifications.
  • Provide daily level 2 operational support for services managed by the Communications and Messaging team.
  • Ensure timely delivery of change requests, including corrections and enhancements, as directed by the team lead.
  • Uphold global solution designs and policies across the organization.
  • Deliver training sessions to Regional IT services personnel and local IT support teams to enhance service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the creation of knowledge base articles and process automation.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is required.
  • Several years of experience managing voice policies and configurations within Microsoft Teams is essential.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft 365 Phone System, Calling plans, and Direct routing.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Teams Meeting Room Systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with carrier management for local number handling and porting is preferred.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft MS-700, MS-721, AudioCodes/Ribbon Certified Associate, or higher, as well as ITIL qualifications, are desirable.
  • Experience in monitoring voice call quality and troubleshooting root causes related to network and platform providers is important.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and Office 365, focusing on Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Teams.
  • A willingness to learn new platforms and adapt quickly to changing situations is essential.
