At SAP, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Payroll Specialist to join our team in APJ. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all SAP employees in China.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in payroll processing and reporting procedures to ensure timely payment of SAP employees and adherence to country-specific statutory regulations and business frameworks.
- Provide advice to customers, stakeholders, peers, and managers on issues related to local laws, policies, and country-specific topics under the guidance of a senior HR payroll specialist.
- Assist the primary point of escalation for non-standard cases and processes.
- Develop and maintain evaluations and reports to meet legal requirements and accommodate internal and external audit stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external authorities and third parties.
- Monitor critical audit points of payroll transaction services to ensure legal requirements are met.
- Implement standard global processes and controls, adhering to local payroll calendars, policies, and legislative regulations.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in administration or HR, as well as a university degree or a comparable level of education/experience in Payroll Accounting, Business, or Human Resources.
- Adequate knowledge of China payroll law, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with SAP payroll system knowledge (HCM).
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Experience working in an HR customer-oriented environment is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
