About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Medical Manager to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our Clinical Medical Regulatory and Quality department, you will play a critical role in driving innovation and transforming the treatment paradigm for chronic diseases.

Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the execution of clinical trials related to New Therapy Areas, providing medical/scientific expertise and advice to support the development of new treatments.
  • Identify and engage with key opinion leaders, investigators, and research centers to support the conduct of clinical trials.
  • Collect and analyze early scientific insights and guidance to inform clinical trial design and execution.
  • Provide leadership in the scientific community, conducting advisory boards, scientific meetings, and engaging with local associations for healthcare professionals.
  • Support the development of clinical care pathways for new therapy areas and contribute to the evaluation of investigator-sponsored studies.
  • Deliver medical guidance and training to clinical staff, as well as cross-functional teams, to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials.

Requirements

  • MD or PhD in healthcare with strong clinical and research background, or Pharmacist or Master of Science with relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience, with a strong understanding of human healthcare research and pharmaceutical drug development.
  • Expertise in therapeutic areas of relevance, with authorship in peer-reviewed journals and experience as a clinical trial investigator or sub-investigator.
  • Understanding of the local healthcare infrastructure and ability to communicate complex scientific information to various stakeholders.
