Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Manager to join our team in Beijing, China. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of MSLs, developing and implementing regional medical plans, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of MSLs to develop and implement regional medical plans based on competitor intelligence, academic needs, market situation, and provincial policy.
- Review budget proposals from MSLs and work with the TA Head to allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure KOLs lists and engagement plans are accurate and executed appropriately.
- Co-visit with MSLs to provide coaching and feedback, and support the development of long-term scientific collaboration relationships with KOLs.
- Review KOL visit reports, record co-visit reports, and collect insights using appropriate systems.
- Lead MSLs to share medical insights with internal stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner.
- Coordinate cross-regional medical projects, manage work assignments, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support MSLs to identify KOL research capabilities and feasibility of investigator-initiated studies.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure medical plan goals are achieved.
Requirements
- Medical or Pharmacist master degree required.
- At least 3 years of medical affairs experience in a pharmaceutical company, or 1 year of people management experience in a pharmaceutical company.
- Clinical practicing experience in relevant therapeutic areas preferred.
- Good knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, fundamental knowledge of clinical study methodology, and excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong scientific relationships with stakeholders, and maintain an understanding of HCPs to achieve trusted advisor status.
- Highly developed medical project management skills to deliver complex tasks within timeframe and milestones.
- Awareness of and adherence to company policies and compliance requirements.
- Fluent in both written and spoken business and academic English.
Travel Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to travel during holidays as needed by business requirements.
