Position Overview

The engineering division at Bose is composed of a dynamic and skilled group of professionals from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared mission—to develop products that deliver exceptional sound experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures, along with generating detailed test reports.
  • Create and execute automation scripts to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve customer-related issues.
  • Maintain and update the defects database using a defect tracking system.
  • Assist in identifying the root causes of defects through structured analysis.
  • Oversee validation timelines in accordance with project requirements.
  • Engage in requirements and design reviews, contributing to the development process.
  • Design and uphold the test infrastructure for automation test suites.
  • Coordinate validation tasks assigned to offshore teams.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-driven, capable of working effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Experience in software development practices.
  • Proficiency in developing automation test scripts using Python.
  • Familiarity with C/C++, MatLab, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of Digital Signal Processing concepts.
  • Experience with signal analysis using Oscilloscopes and Function Generators.
  • Knowledge of automotive networks, including CAN, MOST, RS-485, and Ethernet AVB.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies.
  • Project management capabilities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred.
  • Fluency in both local language and English is essential, with strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with R&D teams, suppliers, and customers during technical discussions.
