Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with both new and established clients across various sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Biopharmaceuticals, Chemical Manufacturing, Food Safety, Environmental Services, Clinical Research, and Academia;
- Cultivating and enhancing relationships with current clients while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities;
- Conducting regular visits to clients within the designated area;
- Organizing, presenting, and following up on educational seminars and workshops at client locations;
- Delivering high-quality technical guidance to clients while focusing on maximizing sales opportunities;
- Collaborating and providing support across different departments to ensure client satisfaction, working closely with teams in Instrument Sales, Chemistry Operations, and Informatics;
- Developing and executing effective business strategies;
- Prioritizing personal schedules and sales initiatives;
- Complying with relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations during client interactions and as an individual contributor;
- Utilizing various systems such as CRM, Service Plans, and Quotation tools, while actively seeking improvements and upgrades.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background:
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in a scientific discipline such as Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry.
Professional Experience:
- Familiarity with Liquid Chromatography and Sample Preparation techniques;
- Experience in technical and practical solution selling, particularly in Chemistry Consumables, is advantageous;
- Exposure to HPLC laboratory environments with a preference for method development experience.
Essential Skills:
- Proactive and results-driven with a strong technical foundation in analytical technologies, particularly LC and MS;
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities;
- Highly organized with effective time management skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills and active listening capabilities;
- Professional demeanor, positive outlook, and a strong commitment to responsibilities;
- Solid technical expertise in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS.
Travel Requirements:
- This role involves travel within the assigned territory, with occasional trips to other regions for departmental governance, local business support, meetings, and training sessions.
