Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring and improving supplier quality in our assigned area of dedicated business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supplier quality, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. They should possess excellent communication skills and be able to interface with numerous parties at all levels in a multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures and improves supplier quality in our assigned area of dedicated business.
  • Implements SQM requirements regarding preventive actions, technical specifications, and qualification of suppliers.
  • Serves as SQA contact in cross-functional teams.
  • Qualifies and approves suppliers in cooperation with purchasing and Technology.
  • C coordinate product/process qualifications and approvals based on specific requirements/specifications (Ready to order).
  • Create and negotiate Quality Assurance agreements, and monitor implementation in supplier processes.
  • Plans and executes Supplier Audits, including follow-up of audit measures.
  • Drive supplier performance and continuous improvement and collaborate in supplier development programs.
  • Implement complaint management to detect and analyze non-conformances and communicate with suppliers.
  • Supports standardized supplier qualification process according to corporate guidelines (Ready for business).
  • Primarily responsible for performing supplier Product and Process qualification through PPAP (APQP4Wind) approach.
  • Evaluate products and processes to ensure compliance with Siemens Gamesa Renewables' requirements.
  • Analyze and correct quality discrepancies related to products and quality at suppliers, including Non-Conformances handling (NCR) and 8D and similar problem-solving methods.
  • Institute and implement strategies to enhance the development of suppliers, improving their competences and overall quality performance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering is preferred) or an equivalent professional background.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience within supplier quality from an international company.
  • Previous quality-related experience with Electrical industrial components: generators, motors, segmented stators.
  • A Technical background and good knowledge of the segment or generator/motor manufacturing processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to interface with numerous parties at all levels in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent English (both orally and written) and IT skills, including SAP, MS Office applications, etc.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible working hours, home-office possibility, employer-funded pension, attractive remuneration package (fixed/variable), and local benefits.
