Job Overview

The expert in the field of Electro-Mobility and Alternative Drives plays a crucial role within a global network of training professionals, responsible for a variety of tasks and duties:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and technical educator, concentrating on Electro-Mobility and alternative drive technologies. In this capacity, the individual will design and execute technical training programs for industrial clients and educational institutions.
  • Primarily engage in the creation and execution of training and consulting initiatives, particularly in the region of China, while also providing support to the international team of training specialists at TÜV Rheinland Academy & LifeCare.
  • Capable of developing and documenting comprehensive training curricula, instructional materials, and competency assessment criteria.
  • Accountable for delivering hands-on technical training in both workshop settings and classroom environments.
  • Incorporate leading industry practices into the training offerings.
  • Establish collaborations with other Subject Matter Experts and organizations to further refine and expand our technical training portfolio.
  • Assist in the preparation of related proposals from a technical standpoint.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Electro-Mobility and alternative drive systems.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience within the automotive sector.
  • Hands-on experience in Automotive Batteries and Battery Technologies, High Voltage Safety, Battery Management Systems, Automotive Electronics, Motor Control, and Power Electronics.
  • Background as a technical instructor in the aforementioned areas, whether as an in-house trainer or at a University/College.
  • Previous consulting experience is considered a valuable asset.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in delivering training sessions in English or Chinese.
