Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Training Specialist to join our team at Straumann Group. As a CNC Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training plans for front-line machining employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to operate CNC equipment efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training plans for CNC machining employees, including training objectives, content, methods, and schedules.
  • Teach trainees how to record key data during the operation process and compile relevant training materials.
  • Communicate closely with hiring departments to obtain information early to ensure that training can meet the needs of production ramp-up.
  • Pre-training communication with various departments to ensure the formulation and implementation of the training plan.
  • Follow up with trainees who need help in a timely manner and develop corresponding adjustment measures to ensure their smooth progress.
  • Liaise with the Quality Department to ensure compliance with the company's training procedures and provide relevant records.
  • Continuously improve training by summarizing inefficient parts and optimizing them.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of machining experience with strong knowledge of Swiss style turning machines Citizen machine (operate, set-up, and troubleshoot).
  • Minimum 2 years of training experience in CNC machining.
  • Experience with 5-axis milling machines is a plus.
  • Understanding of programming and cutting tool expertise.
  • Previous medical device experience is preferred.
  • College degree above with CNC machining or related.
  • Strong blueprint reading, precision measuring, and communication skills.
  • English language proficiency, able to write and read.
  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and other Office software.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The CNC Training Specialist will work in a general office environment and manufacturing environment. May be exposed to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools. May require moderate lifting and manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.
