Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation and ongoing enhancement of operational standards for training and communication tools related to the Ethics & Compliance Program, fostering a culture of integrity within Astellas.
  • Lead and manage projects and training initiatives to ensure consistent support for colleagues in utilizing training and communication resources effectively.
  • Develop and implement analytical methods to derive insights from training and communication data, facilitating business partnerships and operational improvements.
  • Provide leadership in the development and management of Ethics & Compliance training programs, including technology and agile methodologies.
  • Manage the contracting process and project development with external vendors specializing in learning and communication design.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of data and insights from Ethics & Compliance tools to support program management.
  • Identify and implement strategies to integrate the Ethics & Compliance Program through the globalization of resources, systems, and processes.
  • Assist the Head of E&C Transformation, Training & Communications in program development and deployment through collaboration with internal and external business partners.
  • Influence the advancement of the Ethics & Compliance Training strategy by leveraging insights from training and communication tools and processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (5 years in pharmaceutical/healthcare, 10 years in training, communications, or business) is required.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and global training methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in developing training content, including live workshops and eLearning modules.
  • Fluency in English is essential due to the global nature of the role.
  • Experience working in a multicultural and matrixed global organization.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret guidelines and conceptualize policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and maturity in handling complex and sensitive situations.
  • Commitment to ethics, integrity, and professionalism, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters.
