About Us
8951 Sandvik Coromant Cutting Tools is seeking a knowledgeable Compliance Officer to become a vital part of our global Compliance team. Your Role
In this position, you will be instrumental in fostering adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies, thereby promoting a culture of integrity and enhancing awareness of compliance issues across the organization. A key responsibility will be to educate and train employees on compliance-related topics.

You will collaborate with the SMS Legal & Compliance team, which includes a Data Privacy Officer, focusing on our strategically significant new division. Your role will ensure that our global compliance framework is effectively executed across relevant sectors.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading the global Compliance Programs: anti-bribery and anti-corruption, data privacy, trade, and competition.
  • Providing training and education on anti-bribery and corruption, data privacy, trade, and competition.
  • Identifying compliance risks, advising on compliance initiatives, and prioritizing actions to mitigate risks.
  • Working independently while closely collaborating with the business to understand the application of the compliance program in various operations and establishing effective controls.
  • Monitoring relationships with third parties.

You will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. This position requires travel to various locations.

Your Profile
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in similar roles, holding a degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in international organizations is preferred, along with familiarity with various IT systems and tools relevant to compliance. Proficiency in both Chinese and English, written and verbal, is essential, and knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

With a proactive, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset, you approach our business with a comprehensive perspective, adept at simplifying complex issues into clear and effective solutions. Strong communication skills will enable you to build trust and foster global networks and collaborations. Your organized, self-motivated nature allows you to prioritize effectively and adapt quickly.
