Job Title: Data Governance Consultant

Bosch is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant to lead data governance initiatives, develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures, and ensure that data management practices align with organizational goals and objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance, data architecture, data management, and data quality, with excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Establish policies, standards, and procedures to govern the collection, storage, usage, and sharing of data.
  • Provide guidance in the design of these policies, standards, and procedures and quantifying them by defining KPIs to measure the success and maturity of data governance initiatives, identify areas of improvement, and ensuring accountability.

Data Quality Management:

  • Design and implement data quality standards and processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of organizational data.
  • Collaborate with data stewards and business units to define and enforce data quality metrics.

Metadata Management:

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of metadata repositories to facilitate understanding and lineage of data across the organization.
  • Define and implement metadata standards to improve data discoverability and transparency.

Data Classification and Security:

  • Develop and implement data classification schemes to identify and protect sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure the enforcement of data security measures and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, data owners, and IT teams, to ensure data governance initiatives meet business needs and requirements.
  • Communicate data governance policies, procedures, and standards to stakeholders, and provide training and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of data quality principles, metadata management, and data classification.
  • Knowledge of relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferable experience within DAMA (DMBOK).
  • Applicants must have native-level proficiency in Chinese and good command on written and spoken English.
