Project Team Leader

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Team Leader to join our team at Kohler Co. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading global project teams and ensuring effective communication and efficient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute project plans according to NPD procedure, managing project WBS, budgeting, change management, status reporting, PDCA, risk assessment, and checklist.

2. Ensure project deliverables, including time to market, product quality, cost, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

3. Coordinate multi-functional teams (Marketing/ID/Engineering/Purchasing/Supply Chain/Manufacturing) for key project milestones, ensuring effective communication and efficient outcomes.

4. Lead global project teams and align on global projects direction, with team members from US, AP, India, and Emerging Markets.

5. Manage supplier deliverables on NPD, with support from purchasing/engineering/quality functions.

6. Prepare agendas and work with project teams for regular project meetings, making meeting notes and publishing decisions/actions, and following up with teams and updating key stakeholders.

7. Organize New Product Schedule discussions with Marketing/ID/Engineering for on-time and on-quality outcomes.

8. Identify lessons learned from project execution and optimize available procedures.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in a product development-related discipline (Engineering/Manufacturing, Marketing, and Design) with 8-10 years of experience in product development or project management.

2. Above 4-6 years of increasing responsibility in project management, with strong communication skills and leadership.

3. Understanding of different cultures and ability to work with diverse regional team members.

4. Fluent English speaking and writing as the working language.

5. Professional skills in Microsoft Office and MS_Project.

6. Overseas training/working experience is a plus.
