Overview
As a Cloud Infrastructure Solution Architect, you will assess and analyze industry trends, gather insights from customers and partners, and align architectural and digital transformation solutions with their business objectives. You will cultivate and enhance significant relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level technical decision-makers, and business stakeholders. Your role will involve guiding team members to prioritize customer and partner experiences through effective delivery. You will lead your team in managing and optimizing complex, high-impact scenarios for strategic customers and partners, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND 7+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND 12+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 6+ years of experience leading technical projects.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
Responsibilities
Customer Centricity
  • Evaluate industry trends and gather insights from customers and partners to align architectural and digital transformation solutions with their business outcomes. Build relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level technical decision-makers, and business stakeholders. Guide team members to focus on customer and partner experiences through efficient delivery. Actively listen and maintain constructive tension and trust with customers and partners. Represent the customer and partner internally to influence products and services. Facilitate customer skill development by leading discussions on technical delivery. Share customer and partner success stories internally.
Expand impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level technical decision-makers, and business stakeholders. Provide guidance to technical decision-makers and bridge gaps between technical and business decision-makers. Address complex technical requirements and issues with mutually beneficial technical architectures.Encourage team members to prioritize customer and partner experiences through efficient delivery. Define success conditions for customers and partners. Anticipate and create strategies to enhance customer and partner experiences and accelerate transformation.Actively listen and build trust with customers and partners, respectfully challenge their decisions, and encourage them to explore alternative architectures and solutions.Business Impact
  • Lead the team in managing and optimizing complex, high-impact situations for strategic customers and partners in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Anticipate and manage business and technical risks, applying governance to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring excellence in solution delivery. Own complex customer relationships and facilitate the removal of technical blockers to accelerate consumption and solution implementations. Leverage deep knowledge of Microsoft and competitor products in customer and partner discussions to propose innovative solutions.
  • Champion the adoption of Microsoft offerings based on analysis of Microsoft and competitor products to influence industry-wide direction for specific architectures.
Technical Leadership
  • Assist leadership in defining a global vision. Model technical readiness and influence team preparedness. Mentor colleagues on both technical and non-technical concepts.
  • Lead virtual teams around technologies and customer/partner challenges. Demonstrate deep industry knowledge and drive recognition for Microsoft solutions. Identify gaps and patterns across business and technology areas to facilitate changes and improvements.
