Overview
Identifies and assesses market trends, gathers insights from customers and partners, and aligns architectural and digital transformation solutions with business outcomes. Cultivates and enhances significant relationships with customer and partner architects, high-level technical decision makers, and business stakeholders. Guides team members to prioritize customer and partner experiences through effective delivery. Leads the team in managing and optimizing intricate and high-stakes scenarios for strategic customers and partners in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND 7+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field AND 12+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in a related field AND 8+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 6+ years of experience leading technical projects.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
Responsibilities
Customer Focus
  • Identifies and evaluates industry trends, gathers insights from customers and partners, and aligns architectural and digital transformation solutions with business outcomes. Develops relationships with customer and partner architects, high-level technical decision makers, and business stakeholders. Guides team members to prioritize customer and partner experiences through effective delivery. Actively listens and maintains constructive tension and trust with customers and partners.
  • Expands and strengthens impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, high-level technical decision makers, and business stakeholders. Provides guidance to technical decision makers and bridges the gap between technical and business decision makers.
  • Drives the definition of customer and partner success conditions. Anticipates and creates strategies to enhance customer and partner experiences and accelerate transformation.
  • Actively listens and builds trust with customers and partners, respectfully challenges their decisions, and encourages consideration of alternative architectures and solutions.
Business Impact
  • Leads the team in managing and optimizing intricate and high-stakes scenarios for strategic customers and partners in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Anticipates and manages business and technical risks, applies governance to identify and minimize risks, and ensures excellence in solution delivery.
  • Champions the adoption of Microsoft offerings based on analysis of Microsoft and competitor products to influence industry-wide direction for specific architectures.
Technical Leadership
  • Assists leadership in defining a global vision. Serves as a role model for technical readiness and influences team preparedness. Acts as a mentor to educate colleagues on both technical and non-technical concepts.
  • Leads virtual teams addressing technologies and customer/partner challenges. Demonstrates extensive industry knowledge and drives recognition for Microsoft solutions.
