About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Casualty Associate Underwriter Facultative P&C to join our P&C Facultative team at Hannover Re's Shanghai Branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the underwriting strategy of the Liability insurance business locally and internationally, analyzing and negotiating new risks proposed by the market.
  • Manage the existing risk portfolio, developing new business opportunities and contributing to the achievement of P&C team's growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers, creating innovative solutions for our clients.
  • Cooperate across different lines of business and cross-functional teams, performing additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • University degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Insurance, or comparable academic background.
  • At least 3-5 years of Casualty Underwriting experience in China Market.
  • Solution-based work approach, collaborative and team-minded work attitude, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in Chinese, both oral and written, and good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with a willingness to travel.
