Human Resources Manager for Retail East Region

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Human Resources, Retail, East Region to join our team at adidas China. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated HR consultation, solutions, and programs to support the growth and development of our retail business in the East Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HQ team to customize and drive Retail HR strategies implementation in the region.
  • Develop and implement regional HR initiatives according to business requirements.
  • Lead high-quality management of people topics, including performance management, succession planning, compensation review, recruitment management, and more.
  • Lead workforce planning and analysis for the region to shape high-productivity store teams.
  • Establish effective and efficient cooperation with legal and labor agencies to ensure labor regulations are fully complied with, resolve labor-related issues, and ensure staff security.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with regional retail leadership and promote positive employee relations in the work environment.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships, provide coaching to store managers and employees for continuous development and engagement.
  • Source solutions to build skills and capabilities through effective partnership with HR COE communities.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to own team, foster HR talent development.

Requirements:

  • Good business acumen and knowledge about the industry.
  • HR subject matter expert.
  • Consulting capabilities, including brokering solutions to meet business needs, selling HR solutions to the business, and trusted advisor.
  • Approachable and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Good at planning and well organized.
  • Collaborative.
  • Good leadership and team coaching skills.

Education and Experience:

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in HR function in an international organization with people manager experience in the consumer/fashion industry.
  • Experience in retail HR is a must.
