Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Control Manager, Technology to join our team in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing their SME knowledge to support the business, identifying and implementing changes that mitigate risks, and driving continuous improvement of our operating model.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and maintenance of monitoring methodology, standards, processes, and procedures, and oversee the development and maintenance of effective tools and technology.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement of our operating model for the end-to-end conduct of particular controls in partnership with control owners, risk stewards, and risk owners.
- Work with control owners to prioritize potentially divergent and conflicting requirements from a broad range of stakeholders in a BAU context.
- Provide coordination necessary to manage the response to critical incidents with significant implications and other high-priority threats requiring a coordinated response.
- Share information to continuously adapt and improve controls and support the business in their first-line responsibilities.
- Timely escalate information on the most significant controls findings to senior management to support and facilitate a strategic appraisal of the relevant risks.
Requirements
- Track-record of developing and implementing risk controlling & monitoring standards and controls.
- Strong risk awareness on identification, mitigation, and control.
- Extensive track-record of leading multi-disciplined teams to deliver exceptional customer service and value.
- Proven ability to deliver change globally across matrix-based organizations.
- Strong Influential communication and interpersonal skills, able to operate well across cultures and in multicultural, diverse work environments.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English, especially proficient in email communication and reporting.
- Willing to learn, explore, and implement new and emerging technologies.
- Superior in relationship management, consultative, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high-quality results under tight schedules and high pressure.
